Power Supply
AMI Model 217 WDR
The Model 217 WDR is a 100/150A programmable GTAW power supply. It is designed to work with all AMI’s orbital fusion weld heads and is capable of welding tube and thin wall pipe.
The internal memory of the machine stores up to 1000 different welding schedules for quick access. High-integrity, sanitary welds are easily reproduced at the touch of a button. The welds produced by the Model 217 WDR meet or exceed the specifications required by diverse industries such as: semiconductor, food, dairy, beverage, pharmaceutical, aerospace, renewable energy and nuclear.
AMI Model 207
The Model 207 is a 100/150 A programmable GTAW power supply. It is designed to work with all AMI’s orbital fusion weld heads and is capable of welding tubing and thin wall pipe.
The internal memory of the machine stores up to 100 different welding schedules for quick access. High-integrity, sanitary welds are easily reproduced at the touch of a button. The welds produced by the Model 207 meet or exceed the specifications required by diverse industries such as: semiconductor, food/dairy/beverage, pharmaceutical, aerospace, and nuclear.
AMI Model 227
The Model 227 is a 100/225 A pre-programmed / programmable, inverter-type, GTAW welding power supply and controller designed for (but not limited to) automatic orbital welding applications that require the addition of filler material.
AMI Model M217P Portable Welding System Controller
Arc Machines, Inc. (AMI) is pleased to announce the newest addition to our automated fusion orbital welding systems the M217P which began shipping on October 1, 2016. This new workhorse is offered as a compact unit creating ease of portability for on-site applications while maintaining all the functionality of the M217. The M217P replaces the M205.
Weld Heads
AMI Model 8 Series
The Model 8 series weld heads are orbital weld heads for fusion (GTAW) welding of fittings, tubing and thin wall pipe. The narrow width of these heads makes it ideal for limited clearance applications, such as welding fitting to fitting or fitting to valve body assemblies. Welds materials such as stainless steel, titanium, Hastelloy™ and other autogenously weldable alloys.
AMI Model 9 Series
The Model 9 series of orbital weld heads are designed for fusion (TIG) welding of tube, pipe, fittings or other cylindrical components. Available in ten sizes and three versions, they can be configured over 60 different ways and can accommodate diameters from 3/32” (2,3 mm) to 7.5” (190,5 mm) OD, and wall thicknesses from 0.01” (0,25 mm) to 0.16” (4 mm).
AMI Model 15
The Model 15 is a rugged, precision weld head with low radial clearance for GTAW welding of all pipe sizes from 3″ (76 mm) pipe up to an unlimited size, including flat plate.
